not going to lie... if i ever find another double cab its getting the 95-97 front end swap.. might even go full extra and bench swap it for the pure 90s feel

Lol hell no. None of my 95-97s have bench seats. And don't need them.

I’m not saying I like em. But if I were going for the pure 90s factory feel. Bench, column shift and old front end.

I took the bench out of the tundra. Funny, up till 06 you could get benches in double cab tundras

If that fuel filter needs replacing you should do it now while access is easy.

Two conditions must be met in order for the dash led to dim:
    1. The dimmer but be the electronic type (three wire plug) not the rheostat type (two wire plug)
    2. LED used must be dimmable type. No, they are not fancy, like a household bulbs that dimmable are twice more expensive. The cheapest 12V LED are dimmable, they are usually rated something like 9 - 14V with no electronic driver in there. Just diode, resistor and LED chip. Anything fancy with voltage range 9 - 30V are not dimmable - they will start blink or cut off instead of dimming. Example from superbright leds

Installed a new shift knob. Ordered this off ebay, shipped from Thailand. It's a good color match with the charcoal interior. Toyota P/N PZ020-0K012.

Installed new hitch after getting truck back from frame replacement. Was a bit difficult to do by myself but then again I'm pushing 70 so that's expected. Thank goodness for air tools.

I've always thought about buying one of those but after seeing it installed, it looks like the color wouldn't match very well to the blueish gray of my 99...

Old mount. I had already half ass repair the front one that had completely failed. The 1" Daystar BL pucks are trash. Not enough surface area.
    IMG_20200410_153327.jpg

Regardless of the BL Brett is starting to see issues as well. Pop through this thread to find the other cracks!
