Found this on my drivers side floor - any ideas?

Found this sitting on my drivers side floor mat when I got in the truck today - anyone know what the heck it is?
Seems like a bushing/gasket to go around a cable - def seems to be from the truck.
Help appreciated.

 

woah i found the same grommet a couple months ago and made a post somewhere. no idea but no issues so far lol. I think its some firewall grommet

It kinda looks like the “screw” that holds the panel next to the foot rest thingamajig. Except, broken

 

It is rubber - more like a grommet or sheathing for something. Or a pressure fit something or other.

 

If you put yours, and @YDCtaco 's together, you guys will become captain tacoma.

I found one on my floorboard too a while back. If I kept it, it's somewhere in a special place.

Here’s a WAG, perhaps it’s a piece that protects something prior to installation and gets left behind the dash?

 

Comical a few people have found the same pierce. Someone has to know what it is. Hah
