Im at an impass. If i add spacers to the rear it will match the width of the front and will keep the tire from hitting the rear shock, increasing up travel under flex.

Buttttt then the tires will rip my bedsides off.

You have a welder. Just cut out some of the bumper. Is it powdered?

I’d just cut a 2” strip out of it and then reweld it. Fully weld the outside and stitch weld the inside. Then grind it smooth on the outside. Shouldn’t take more than an hour once the bumper is already off. Heck you could do it with it on if you really wanted

Adds extra rigidity between the two hangers. Essentially acts like another crossmember for the frame

Careful with the rage. Don;t stir to mix the hardener fold it over. It gets air bubbles

That’s what I was seeing in the videos I watched. Going to pick up some sand paper tomorrow and get started. Should be exciting

No, I thought this was fine. I just noticed this though in the literature. Ugh. I guess at this point I’ll just use it and if it cracks over time, just bed-line it like you’ve suggested.

Ok I figured that. But what does it prevent? Why is it needed? I've never seen a rear frame crack (doesn't mean it doesn't happen that's why I'm asking).
