Update: I've decided on first come first, first served due to the world apparently being full of disingenuous people with fake sob stories. Thanks again for your help everyone.

I know this is the dumbgeon, but id like to get some opinions from yall.

I posted my tires on OfferUp after buying new ones. The old ones have plenty of tread (only 13k miles) and i put up all 5 for a hundred bucks because i just wanted to make sure someone would bite.

First person contacts me and says they want them, i say sure.

Another person contacts me saying he wants them and theyre a great deal for his father in law who is on social security fixed income, 88 years old.

Id rather give them to the second guy. I was gonna tell the first guy:

“Hey i have another guy is saying that he wants these for his father in law who is on a fixed income social security. I’d rather sell these to him. But if he bails i will let you know asap, im sorry to flip flop on you.”

You think i should do first come first served or sell them to the second guy with the low income father in law?

I dont wanna just ghost the first guy so i might as well be honest even tho its kind of unusual.
