There's not enough folks in our area on T-Mobile to bump priority so we're not sure how long it'll be out. We've tried twice to call in on our ticket but haven't gotten through and they close on a half hour and we've already been on hold for 1.5. We can go an exit down the freeway and have signal just fine but that's on a different tower.

Oddly enough Rob has 2 other co-workers without internet and I know of someone at work whose internet is out as well. None of them live near us or have the same service so not sure what's going on lately.

One minute it'll load (at dial up speeds like I am now) and the next minute we'll have nothing and can't get a webpage to load for an hour. May have to go work from my sisters backyard or something if we can't figure it out.

    Super frustrating.

@1buzzbait , get a new phone for "Fishy" pics. What I'm talking about is the amount of time people spend with their nose shoved into it on a daily basis. I bitch and complain, "while typing away on my laptop". But I can justify this because I'm retired now. When I'm away from home I carry a cheap ass Walmart flip phone for emergencies, breakdowns, medical ect. You can't go anywhere without seeing shit tone of people "Thumbing" away on these things at a frantic pace.

@MarX , I agree with you. I too used to spend my days with my face shoved into a computer screen, either uploading Mac updates, fixing user issues, or doing hardware repairs. What blows my mind these days, is the number of School Systems that use only mac computers. Then thiese kids go off to college and buy a mac to use. When they graduate College and enter the Real World (Windows), they have to be trained on how to use a windows based computer system. Mac computers don't rule the business world yet. and here I type away on my antiquated mac 10.6.8 operating system. But in general people spend way too much time with their nose shoved into their phones. There are times, that I really miss the good ole days, when you used to call up a friend and chat on the phone, instead of these impersonal texting messages we do today.

If I had all the money that I wasted(depending on your opinion) on booze, weed, and drugs from 1973 until 1993 when I basically went sober, I could have bought a really nice truck, or just deposit into the bank, and had quite a large sum of cash. I remember thinking one day, it's been 5 years since I had a drink or smoked a doobie. Now days, I wish that N.C. would legalize medicinal pot, because I'd like to try it vs taking all these pain killers. I didn't drink or smoke week the entire 20 years, there were some periods of time where I would go to a bar or should I even say this, a Disco, just to watch people. I'd buy a coke and sit at the bar and watch people for a couple of hours. I had alcoholics in my family, and didn't want to wind up like some of them did. Also didn't want to set a bad example for my kids. I actually told my girls when they went out partying to have a designated driver, and they actually did it. I told them that a DUI today, could ruin you, money wise and job wise. But I have no problems with people that drink, just the ones who get drunk and become an asshole.

Can someone please help me with this?

I'm about to install new 3rd members with ARB in the rear and an ARB single compressor. I want to have my compressor switch and rear locker switch in my overhead rocker switch panel. I wired my switch panel up and got that working. All my pos/neg wires are jumped together and I got different color wires going from the #3 prong on my switch (5 prong switch, lower independent lights) to go to each relay - accessory. Its tidy and clean and I really want to just use that.

I'm looking at the compressor/locker harness and I dont want to use the supplied switch wires part of the harness (photo 1). It'd be a bitch to connect them to my overhead panel and would double up my connections to my ignition power, dimmer wires, and be a mess.

Looking at the schematic (photo 2), I think I can connect my existing compressor switch-relay wire (pink highlighted red wire in photo 2) to the red wire in photo 3 and my locker switch-relay wire (orange highlighted yellow wire in photo 2) to the yellow wire in photo 3. Then I can just not use the switch part of the harness.

Could someone please advise me on this?

Note - I do see that the the compressor switch must be engaged to provide power to the locker 1 switch (rear) and the compressor switch and locker 1 switch must be engaged to provide power to the locker 2 switch (I dont have a front locker so not relevant). I like this built in safety aspect and will wire up my overhead rocker switch panel this same way.

Photo 1: switch wiring loom. Note the 4 hanging outgoing wires from the switches (red = compressor; yellow = rear locker; green = non-existent front locker; black = switches grounds, which my existing switch panel is already grounded)

Photo 2: Wiring schematic (pink highlight compressor power from switch to harness; orange highlight rear locker power from switch through harness; yellow highlight grounds from switches through harness).

Photo 3: I'm holding the 4 wires I'd shove through my firewall to connect to the switch part of the harness/loom. I think I can just connect to the red wire for compressor and yellow wire for the rear locker, ignore both the green for the non-existent front locker and the black ground wire, and not use the switch wiring provided at all (photo 1).

    Close up

so you already had switches wired up for the compressor, but not the locker? just get your old switches to control the new relay?

its late and ive had a long day so my minds not functioning 100% right now

No. I have a 6 rocker switch panel wired up that works, but not installed in my truck yet. I want to use 2 switches in that panel for my compressor and my rear locker. Take the switch-relay wires from my switch panel and ditch the supplied wiring for the switches (photo 1). Make sense?

if your going to use a switch panel relay then you dont need to worry about any wires before the relay. all your wiring would be from relay to compressor/locker since the switch panel should have all the wires you need there already
