Okay, so my original plan would work right? The only part not used is the front locker wires to solenoid.

you also do not need the blue white wire either since you said you already have ilumination covered

yes just be sure to tape off the junction that would have gone to the front locker switch, because when the rear is engaged that wire will also be getting 12v and you dont want it to short out against anything

yes, so all you need is the connector to have 2 connections.

assuming the GROUND, IGNITION, and ILLUMINATION are already up in the switch panel

rushed job. This diagram shows just the wires you need assuming the other 3 are present in your panel already

you just want that compressor power to also give power to the locker switch

    Side note

I could tap into some wires for illumination so my switches would be connected to my gauge cluster dimmer. I was planning on just jumpering all my grounds together for all switches (poles 7 and 8) PLUS all my ignition and illumination (poles 6 and 2) together. I wont be able to dim my lights but dont care. I was going to throw a dead pole switch in my ignition wire (after add a fuse to ignition hot only) before the panel anyway so my kids dont accidentally flip the switches etc..

    That's okay right?

you should be fine with jumping all the grounds together, if you run the illumination into the dimmer circuit, they should dim. a switch before ignition power to all the switches will kill power to all them as a master power switch.

if you want the lights to be on the ignition side only then you can go straight ignition as well

    Yes
    That will happen for sure.

I'm about to redo my switch panel and then I stall and wanted to make sure this would work first.

just run a fuse before the master switch as a safety, your not drawing much power from the switches. so yea... it should be simple to make it work however you want. run a ground wire to a factory ground (usually one in the a pillar area, if not b pillar.)

What I mean is I am jumpering all the ignition (pole 2) and illumination (pole 6), both are positive taking power to run leds, together. So I wont be able to dim my switches but that's okay.

    No problem right?
It works when I wire it up to a 12v battery.

yea theres no issue with that. if its ignition they'll just be on whenever your key is on.

those LEDs dont draw enough power to concern me in any way

just run a fuse before your main switch that'll turn on all your switches.. unless your stealing ignition from a already fused source with enough amperage.

B pillar is the part of the body between the front and rear doors. A pillar is the pillar between the front door and windsheild
