    Good morning TW.

All apologies if this overlaps a couple existing threads but I couldn’t find the exact info I was looking for...so I’m shopping for some aftermarket rims for my 06 prerunner...and I was hoping somebody could tell me, according to these specs, if these will fit my non lifted stock prerunner suspension or not, without rubbing the insides of my fender wells?

Stock rims now are 16x7 and these I’m looking at are 17x8s...my main concern is the offset and hub bore...can somebody give me a good idea with 5mm offsets how much the tire will stick out?

Any info is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

Maybe this might help. So I have American racing rims.
    Here is exactly what I have AR172 BajaSize: 17x8Bolt Pattern: 6x139.7 (6x5.5")Offset: +0mm
I also have Falken Wildpeaks with them that are 265/70 17

I when I first got this set up I had to take my front mudflaps off and that was with a stock suspension. Now I have a OME suspension, its gives me about a 2.5" lift and I have no issues now and I even have my front mudflaps back on.

When I still had my stock suspenion, the rubbing I noticed was one the corner of my fender flares when I would go over a bump or something. I was just going to trim it off, but then I got the lift.

Here is a before and after shot. You can see the difference in the space in the wheel well.

What would be the difference if I have the exact same setup as you with stock, but I went with the -12 offset? Would the rubbing be worse??

Yeah it would because you are bringing the tire in. I'm 99% positive, but I could be wrong. I would think you would have to do some trimmings.

See I was assuming it would be ok because a more negative offset pushes the tire further out....maybe i was wrong after all! Either way I want these wheels! The 0mm and -12 really doesn’t matter to me. Just want minimal rubbing since I have stock suspension. I’m ok with trimming some plastic though.

Ah gotcha. You know I may be wrong. But I only have a little bit of rubbing.

More negative offset pushes the wheel and tire out. But due to that, you may have rubbing on inside your fender walls due to turning.
