Futures are slightly up, but we all know that doesn’t mean shot lol. I would look to @Boyk1182 our Fox news insider for fresh news today before it’s released.
Other than that since volatility is down I have swapped all of my positions to long term holds. Whatever happens I’ll ride it out.

I usually have CNBC on in the background all day while I work. I have to go somewhere today so no dice on the amazingly fast news updates.

You can't really have a logic-based discussion with folks whose views are emotion-based.

You try to talk numbers, and get.. but, but, but the body bags! You can tell real quick when it’s not worth the breath it takes to talk.

Looks like some good responses above.........I am no sales and marketing guru...........if I was.....anyway all I can add is:

Go the extra mile. Do all the extras for people. Yes some people are assholes to the core. Don't dwell on them. Do the right thing and move on. One thing we know is: We can't count on the economy, politicians, luck, magic strokes of God genius, whiz bang websites, the stock market or aunt Sally packaging stuff because she wants to help........BUT you and your employees going and doing that extra thing/service happily sticks like nothing else even when you don't think it is......example say your business is 30/70 (existing customers/new customers) - I'm placing no value on this number, just an example, but someone could say well on 30% are return customers like it's a bad thing............hah! Those 70% new - at least 80% of them came from a happy 30% return customer!

@slander I'll also add (as one with an education in business/marketing) that a substantial part of your "job" will be finding new customers. Even when you're flush with an existing customer base. There will always be attrition, so you must always be generating new leads and finding new customers.

I've known some folks who've had good success with PowerCore - https://powercore.net/ - even as a way to learn to better communicate your sales / message.

I'd also suggest considering some work with non-profit / charity organizations where appropriate as a way to build up local reputation, contacts, and references if those would be helpful.

@slander I have no expertise in what you asked, but was think about it, so figured I’d post. I think good old fashioned door-to-door knocking, talking, taking people out to lunch, etc. still goes a long way in this digital world.

Logic is going the way of the Dodo bird. I swear people are stupider now then at any point in human history. I wonder if Darwin realized evolution could be a bell curve?

Someone mentioned ERX and I’ve been investigating. Does anyone know more about it than I do? I don’t know a lot about trading commodities much less a commodities ETF. With the oil industry possibly going bankrupt in America (sorry USO fans) because of the Saudis flooding us, does this ETF seem like a good buy? It is very very low right now and looks like it has a ton of upside potential. Like I said though, I don’t know a lot about commodities, especially the oil industry.

It seems to be leveraged? The way I understand it, there are ways to play those, but holding long isn’t a good idea.

I'm in on ERX and running it until crude is above 25, then getting out.

    My current holdings are:

    DKNG - long (maybe)
    ERX - 1 month
    NRGU - 1 month
    UCO - 1 month

It seems too good to be true. Buy ERX now at 13.77 and hold till it goes back to pre virus levels at 180ish?

But think about their perspective - that is their logic. They don't understand our "logical" side just as much as we don't understand their "emotional" side. Some people are overcome compassionate feelings and don't give a shit about economics. I don't think like that but It is important to understand both sides
