    They entered a 5 month restructuring plan according to the news today, so who knows. Most of their wells are in ND so not sure what major would want to buy them up to get those assests. COP is the big boy up there.

    It’s very possible. More likely still in the bull trap though if you are betting on the accuracy of that graph. This is a bit of a different scenario than usual market behavior though

    chatter I'm hearing is feds may take stakes in oil companies to help the US oil market from collapsing. May be a popup for oil companies soon.

    That's what I was referring to upthread. There's a shit ton of oil in the midwest. Think of it as a reserve federal reserve. The Feds could let some of them fail but not all. If they play favorites that doesn't look good so everyone will get a piece of the pie. If that bailout happens.
