What kind of flooring? I'm an estimator for a concrete polishing company and we also do epoxy coatings (metallic, urethane, chip/flake, quartz to name a few). We also do the prep work for other flooring if you need glue or tyle mastic removed. We're based out of Arvada but do plenty of work all over Colorado, including the Springs.

Who had input on treating ash trees?
    Was it Eric @teamhypoxia ?
I currently get the merit injection once a year. Was there anything else I should be doing to treat Preventively for ash borers?

I don't know what a merit injection is....
I just use systemic pesticide in the spring. It's the stuff you put in the ground and water the crap out of it so the tree basically sucks up pesticide internally.

We do concrete stains all the time but it's not like wall painting where the color overtakes whatever you're putting it on top of. If we stain a floor brown, it will have darker and lighter areas like it does naturally but with a brown tint. If you want to do something that looks like a marble floor, a metallic epoxy is the way to go - you can do a white or gray base coat and put some black accent streaks in there and it looks exactly like marble..

    Metallic Marble.jpg Gray Metallic Marble.jpg

We have some stains listed on our website but if you want to google Ameripolish Concrete Dye, that's the stain we use the most and there are tons of pictures out there of it. Our website is www.concreteprepandpolish.com if you want to see some other concrete polishes. I didn't want to turn this is an advertisement for my company but I am the estimator and we're always looking for more work so feel free to PM me if you have questions.

One last picture because this is another way you can go with metallic epoxies and it's in my basement and I love showing it off...

It would look sweet but metallic epoxies are definitely more of a showroom/decorative look that wouldn't really hold up to cars being driven over it and weather/dirt being ground into it. We could do a polyaspartic or urethane topcoat that would hold up decently and resist chemicals and stains better but I wouldn't be counting on it being in great condition for 10 years.

If you're looking for more durability, it would be better to do an epoxy system with chips/flakes or a sand broadcast. It's not the same look but I like to think it's a different kind of pretty..

You’d never find the 10mm socket you dropped on the floor with either of those but they do look nice.
