    It's the Space Explorer, 487, not the big one. That was one of my originals. I had that one space set, and one of the first Technic sets, the red tractor 952, also still in original packaging. I need to pull that out soon.

    That's a pretty desirable set. You can try ebay, but that will probably end in misery. Your best bet is to check out www.bricklink.com and see if any are available there. Remember that older retired sets command a premium when it comes to price. Once a set is retired its gone, so you are at their mercy. It really boils down to how much are you willing to pay. You can also visit www.brickset.com and type in the set number. There you can find out if the set is still in production or if its retired. Good luck! I look forward to seeing what you get.
