The good: Passenger side light is fine, and has always sealed well.

The Bad: Driver's side isn't sealed correctly, and has a leak, especially if parked on a hill in heavy rain. Shown in 2'nd photo. Full disclosure: Was using a heat gun to try to dry the insides out a few months ago, and caused a slight dip in the plastic (Top of tail light in 3'rd photo).

Haven't tried to re-seal them.

First I've heard of this 6-10 rule. How does that work exactly? I have to replace it if its 6 years old but can keep it after 10 years? A bit sarcastic but really is it 6 years or 10 years...or does it vary by type of manufacture? Is it a regulatory requirement by states and DOT or is it a industry recommendation?

Anyway, I was thinking it would be a good spare for someone with a set.

No one is going to MAKE you get new tires... my 4runner had 12 year old tires when I bought it, still looked new. But the things do age and deteriorate like everything else.

So, I took all of this stuff off when I first got the truck and am now selling it (finally) for local pickup/meet up in Dallas/Ft. Worth area. I can meet up wherever around DFW (Grand Prairie is local).

The wheels/tires have less than 700 miles on them (no TPMS but do have regular valve stems in) not a scratch on them, just some surface dust from sitting in my attic (hence the crappy lighting for the photos). I was going to keep them for spares/weather change but... I'm here in DFW, so it's hot... just hot. Asking $800 obo.

I also have the stock TRD Off-Road front shocks/springs, control arms, rear shocks and overload leaf. Along with the wheels/tires, these were taken off with less than 700 miles on the truck. So, if you're looking for a cheap upgrade or it's time to replace anything bent/blown, the whole thing is up for sale at $300 obo.

Lastly, and these have a bit more mileage on them (around 3k miles), I have a set of OEM predator steps for dual cab short bed. They're in good shape (nothing bent, no contact with anything but shoes). HOWEVER, in the interest of seller transparency, they have some signs of Barnwell red-dirt on them (they've been to the Lone Star Jamboree (no wheelin' on that trip, I'm just an even photographer). I figure all it will take is some heavy petting to get them back up to spotless spec. Asking 250 obo.
