Hey guys, looking to do some maintenance on my trd SC. Read through the maintenance info but couldn’t find where to source the parts/exactly what to search, specifically for the nose drive coupler. Also, anything else suggested to replace while in there? Aside from cleaning/greasing/oil?

There are nose drive coupler replacement kits out there which are sold with the nose drive oil and a syringe with hose. I have not listed where to find them because the list is ever changing on who supplies those. As for right now you can find one from Khaos motorsports, they sell probably one of the most complete kits outside of the grease which I recommend for greasing the needle bearings and the silicone itself.

There is supposedly no other grease and silicone which Eaton and Magnuson recommends other then some funky grease I do not even know what is called, and Anaerobic sealant, but there is definitely an alternative (Redline CV2 red grease and RED RTV silicone by permatex. I do NOT recommend any other color silicone).

Nothing else is needed to replace in there unless you are doing a major overhaul which would include bearings. The rotors themselves are basically the only part inside the supercharger and those do not obviously require replacement.

Would be nice to have some sticky links on page one for parts. superchargersonline, other ones. There is another one I cant think of but that would be a nice add. Or link to a google sheet with vendor info. Could keep the post shorter.

That requires too frequent of updating and it would be too difficult to keep up with the ever changing link directory path and vendor activity or inactivity on the external side.

Since we and I have no control over a vendor being in business it is just best to give a general list of mods and let the guys wanting to do said mods to do their own due diligence on the availability of said parts on their side of the nation. A belt for you and I which is not available locally may be a stones throw away for some other members out in Texas or vice versa.

Online ordering always bridges that gap, but again, even these online vendors shut down one day without notice, so I'd rather not set you guys up for that sort of failure on the OP.

I like trying to give suggestions on places where to find stuff on page 1 but as you have noticed I try to keep that down to a minimum for the reasons I mentioned.

Morning boost creeps, does anyone have pictures of how an AEM boost gauge's sensor should be hooked up in the engine bay? Or a link to an install guide? I've done some keyword searches and couldn't find anything. I've got my AFR and boost gauge's installed into the lotek a pillar gauge pod and just need to hook up the add a fuse, drill the hole in my y pipe, and figure out this vaccum line business. Thanks!

Makes sense. I was thinking if you had a google sheet that anyone could access you would just have one link that people could jot down places or parts. No guarantee but would make for an easy spot. No maintenance by you once in play. Just thinking easy way to gather some info (even if some could go away in the future).

I have to say that is looking pretty clean but with Packers Fan, I was expecting a different color theme. =p Will be nice when you get it all up and running. I am hoping to have my truck running this weekend.

I ran mine through a singular grommet on the passenger side then installed the boost map pressure sensor out and mounted on the main harness then zip tied it to said harness. From there I just ran my hose to the port at the back of the blower and called it a day!

Pretty straight forward stuff. I can take a picture for you if you'd like, but it is is such a clean install you wouldn't even think twice of thinking anything other than it's OE. Lol.

I am working on the same setup. May go through the passenger side as well. That Boost doesn't seem complicates just routing all the lines/wires. I ran out of spots on the drivers side. For the AFR I need to figure that one out. A ton of extra stuff going on there.

That's easy. All you have to do is route the wiring down towards the kick panel then the driver's seat area and there is a grommet directly by the frame. Continue to run your AFR sensor using the routing already in place including using the parking brake cabling and then make your way over to the connection at the Y pipe. Good to go.

Ground can literally be anywhere and you can use IGN on as a power source. Done.

Anyone looking for an accumulator delete kit as made by trident904? I never installed mine as the CM TOB deletes it.

Alright, I know some of you guys will know.

I’m selling my engine. The supercharger is already gone.

My truck is a 2013 4.0. The kid who wants my engine has an earlier truck without the secondary injection setup.

Am I correct that he can use my engine by simply using his exhaust manifolds and valve cover?
