Clearance lights

Is there anyone out there with clearance lights on a 2nd gen, thinking of getting some but do not know how it will look

 

What on earth are you hoping to clear? My truck is not nearly high enough for me to warrant getting clearance lights.

 

I like them on lifted dodge diesels, but on a Tacoma?!?!?!

 

Do you mean rock lights? I have some fogs mounted facing backwards on my crossmember.

 

Hmmm.

 

I am talking about the roof clearance or chicken lights whatever you want to call them.

 

Low clearance parking garage? Seems like a pointless mod and I think it would look silly on a mid-size truck. My cousin's ranger had them when he bought it and it looked ridiculous. To each his own but that's just my opinion.

 

They just will not look right....

I'm with everybody else, it won't look right on our smaller trucks.

I've got some lights mounted on my frame under my first gen with them pointed sort of out and at the front tires. It helps so much during offroading/anywhere where there are no street lights, I'll try to get some pics if you want. Aiming the beams at the ground though is sort of......unecessary though.

 

found some leds that im gona put behind the grill like the ford raptor think it will look better

 

gottem on the deisel, but i think theyd look ugly on the taco...infact i want the smoked amber ones, jmho but to each his own

 

This would be unique and interesting. Trailer marker lights might be the right size for this

 

I loved them on my Full Size Ram, It actally set the truck off. im not so sure on the tacoma though. I would be curious to see.
