Visit your favorite (ugh!) Toyota dealer parts man, tell him what you want, then while you're there go ahead and get 'em!

The bolts on the back are special. They're kind of a flat head sort of situation that fits inside a slot so they don't turn. They're about 50 bucks for a set.

Thanks for the reply’s $40.00 + shipping from Toyota. Seemed to be the best option.. no guessing

    nuts? or bolts?

all i see on my truck are nuts, currently soaking in Nut-Z lube and FF mixture
thought the bolts are 'permanent' fixture on 'em

No, on my 03. 5’ bed there are 4 bolts (2 per side) and what I’d call a stud with a nut (1 per side).

all bolts & studs on order for Toyota
    Should see them tomorrow

Sorry. I don’t.. they just gave them to me in a clear plastic bag with no numbers and can’t put my hands on the receipt, it may have been thrown out with the old bolts, But if I come across it I’ll post all part # here

Has anybody found a suitable replacement? I checked the local hardware store, couldn't find exactly what I needed.

    Thanks everybody!
