I just use a cheapo and stick it in. I did have one that runs the probe out to the sensor outside the grill but I think the TC wire got pinched or whatever, doesn’t signal right anymore. New TC is a few bucks just haven’t gotten one yet.

I’m thinking of these for two reasons. One id like to set up my smoker outside/smoke house in the winter and not have to go check it so I can set one at the smoker temperature. And it would be cool to see if I can set an alarm on my phone to wake me up when it’s done if needed.

but realistically I’m going to set up and electric smoker box so won’t need to monitor the set point a second way, and I know my times and plan around a ballpark when I need to be awake. So don’t see the value for me right now.

I haven't used it a lot but last year I bought an Inkbird IBT-6XS.

    https://www.amazon.com/Inkbird-Bluetooth-Thermometer-Smokers,6-Rechargeable/dp/B07R6H558K

I think my steel siding pisses off the bluetooth connection to my phone so it dropped here and there but other than that it seemed to work well.

NICE! I was hoping it was something like this!

Needs a winch, some ditch lights and what's the biggest tire you can fit with no lift??? Will it rub? What about a LED lightbar? What percent of tint? Are you going to add a turbo? Are you going to add a supercharger? What's the gas mileage with those tires? What lift are you running? Does it have electric adjustable seats?
