I hate those zip off pants myself. Either shorts or long pants. Wait no one should have to look at the veins on my legs you could drive from San Diego to Buffalo if you knew what a map was instead of a GPS so will go with long pants :pout:

Couple of weeks ago seen a gentleman with a chipping iron as a cane. Held it by the head and had a cup on the end of the grip. Perfect. If someone gave you shit you cold T off on their dumb ass. Just saying..

Not there yet but Neph has told me I am ready to give birth to a shitload of them. I try to suck down as much water as I can after talking to enough people about it. Hope it wasn't too painful. Oh and congratulations! Or not, ugh.

Amen brother. Wrap it in bacon. Everything in bacon.

Looks like I'm going to do something I said I would never do. Never have 2 dogs from the same litter that will likely expire at the same time been there done that. My heart can't take that again. They are 5 so with 12-14 life being normal that could work out for me as that would put me into the early 70's. Have to admit my own mortality, and none of us are promised tomorrow.

Nova's sister needs a rehome and the breeder and owner have been in contact with me. The owner has 2 young kids and a third on the way. Couple of weeks ago she bit the 3.5 year old when she tried to take a bone out of its mouth. Duh.

Have to take my first week furlough from work end of may and will get things set up and ready for her. Tried a rescue Toller from Texas and said never again. But can't help myself. @Cypherian hope don't have to call you on this one and appreciate all the help with the dog from hell. Nova's sister coming from a young family doesn't have the discipline needed from the little bit I know. I can fix that. They have met after they were littermates at a technical pond at the home of the president of the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling retrievers home.

She is wearing the harness. And Nova is chasing her wanting to jump her bones. She is now spayed. I must be crazy. But she needs a good home and has never had a shotgun fired over her or is E Collar trained. I can fix that, and get her a taste of feathers. How the 2 of them interact however...

John might be giving you a call or 3 about it but hope not! Would rather talk about other things.

You are paying WAY too much for gas more than a dollar than you should. Unless you are living in the sagebrush sea.

One of the main reasons that I hesitate to get a second dog.

Taken enough cruises in my life first time I went around the world was in 83 on the Coral Sea. But there is a lot of Canada and the US I want to see yet also. Dogs crimp that style. Right now the dogs win but eventually would hope to finally back the right horse and find a woman to accompany me and the dogs would only get in the way. Tough call. I'm going with the dogs for the next 5-7 years LOL. And hope I don't regret it. But have never ever regretted owning a dog and the responsibility that it entails. A balance of both would be perfect IMO

I agree. No imports into cal, we have our own refineries and oil and blends for the environment.
And taxes, lots of taxes on gas.

But our salaries are higher and our houses are worth a small fortune.

And my company pays for my work truck.

Been there. Then again you could work for well into 6 figures and live on some land too with less taxes and a house that cost a LOT less. Oregon comes to mind, wait the taxes, left coast... But there are other areas taxes are pretty close even in the middle of the Country, gas West of the Rockies is unreal though. Mn. has the pipeline from Canada and it helps a lot. Fracking and screwing up the earth is another story, not going get into it. Some may consider it politics...

Had an Uncle in the early 60's that went to Huntington Beach and bought a house for $6k we thought he was nuts for paying that much. Sold it ~20 years ago for 1 million it was actually more of a bungalow but it was on the beach. That was at the bottom of the housing market.

But having lived on both coasts just couldn't do it again, on either coast too damn many people. Been there and done that and have that T-shirt. Not always my choice where I lived went where Uncle Sam told me to. That is just me. And never EVER thought I would live in the middle of this Country. Could not drag me out of here now. Starting to be too many people here anymore and have not ruled out Alaska. I know a guy...
