I bought this kit from @Trident904 who builds them himself, with intentions of installing and getting rid of the annoying accumulator on my manual trans Tacoma. Then my build changed and my CM hydro TOB deleted the accumulator for me. Its brand new, never used.

I’m about to swap in a 6speed and I’ve been debating on doing a URD sleeve with the bigger TOB. And the factory slave and accumulator. Or The 500$ CM hydrocylinder kit. Curious to know your experience with it.

Do the CM hydro kit! I did the urd clutch kit with TOB "fix" and 500 miles in the TOB noise has return. Theirs a group buy discount going on. The code is posted in the thread, saves you $75.

Here is what we came up with. For the next couple weeks, until May 8th, anyone who wants to purchase a hydraulic slave cylinder kit (and optionally a clutch and or oil cap) you will use the code- TcmaWrld - This will get you $75 off the hydraulic kit as well as $75 off a clutch kit if you so chose to add one. Also if you would like you can add a Toyota oil cap and it will automatically reduce the price of the oil cap to $20 when you have the hydraulic kit in your cart at checkout.

After May 8th, the discount code will still be good to go, but discount will be reduced to $50 off a hydraulic kit as well as $50 off a clutch kit if you choose one. The oil cap deal will still remain as well.

I think this will makes things easier for everyone (not going to lie, group buys are kind of a lot of work!!) and allow people to still get a deal on the kit if they come across this forum thread in the future.

Here's the link to the Tacoma product listings for everything to help get people started in the right direction!

FYI for those curious, I've got about 7000 mileson my setup now and everything is still working flawlessly!

Go with the CM hydro. It is amazing. So smooth and light with zero notchy feeling. You will not regret it. And it deletes all of the fail points in the OEM design

That’s what I’ve heard. It says you have to shim the bearing on install. But confused on that one. Also Where does the new pressure line meet the factory clutch line?

It comes with a spacer. No shims required for me. And I connected mine all the way up by the master cylinder.
