Needs to measure the back of the cab... already have an 4X6 aluminum trailer that i can hack up if need be.

although the Norweld tray is dead sexy..... I want a cab sized bed. Meaning, no over sized stuff. not sure on how that would work on property taxes for a cut down trailer to a bed???

Awesome! Flat beds are usually a result of ambitious rear suspension projects. What’s your thought on shape and purpose?

I would say make the structure of the bed steel. That way you can weld it to the frame and it tie into a roll cage when that happens

I’m planning on tossing my 600# spring back on up front and dropping a couple 100 pounds off the lower springs on the rear to lower the truck a couple inches and get a sway bar for the rear and spend hours a day drifting! It’s too much fun!

I still need to get new springs to drop the front to something reasonable.

coolz.. to be different and carry what ever the hell I want ( not to be an ass.). suspension will vary as to what you will load in the bed.

I dig this tray like as champ. but want it to not over hang the cab (wider). https://www.mainlineoverland.com/products/norweld-basic-tray-short-bed-mid-size-trucks
ok., get what your saying. but basing my thoughts off of prior beds (Army shit). most are spring loaded at the front for twist and tied to the rear. that said. after years of seeing this, I thinking the same. but what do I know. haha

I have one but it's not a portable type. If you're by your old house feel free to stop by and use it.

600# 16” are plush on my double cab if I don’t want any kind of lift. If I had hydros up front I would run them all day. Are you thinking 500#’s? Or lighter?
