Upgraded stock tires to Yokohama Geolanders A/T

 

I'm new to TW so I'm way behind on these mods.
Anyway, intermittent wiper mod complete.
Used a switch from an 09 Camry .

 

Just put in my order for Fox 2.5 remote reservoir adjustable coil overs for the front. And Fox 2.0 remote reservoir adjustable shocks for the rear! Can't thank the guys at @AccuTune Offroad enough! Tyler helped me out and was a ton of help, go to them with any suspension needs.

 

Yours is a 2014? I did this upgrade on my '14 last year.

I traded my truck in for a 4x4 '15, which is why I had to redo it.

Finally got around to installing the Firestone airbags and Daystar cradles. I’ve had them for about a month, got them new from another member. I like to psych myself up for projects. They turned out well, starting w/about 15psi, got rid of the ass-sag and seems to ride very well. I’ll load up the hitch mounted bike rack tomorrow and see if 15psi is still enough.
I used the air-line union to equalize the bags and mounted the valve in the drivers side bed cubby.

 

I redid my upper limit strap mounts so they’re | | Instead of / \

before I failed to realize geometry and shit and that when one side of the axle goes higher, it pivots and allows the other side do go lower. Not anymore.

Knowing this I measured how I have my lower shock mounts done and will cut them off and weld new ones on. Once the limit straps hit, I only have 9.25” of exposed shock shaft. I’m going to redo them so I have 11” exposed shaft. I will gain 1.75” of uptravel this way.

 

Continued to delete more silver trim and wrestled a leather center console lid cover.

Also installed new hood struts thanks to @SpikerEng and @MA_TACO they came out great and what a difference.

 

Did you wrap or paint the trim around the tweeter?

 

I wanted be able to reverse it so i dipped it, gave it four good coats. Not a high traffic area, should last a good while.

Learned the hard way a long time ago that not everything in the interior can be plasti dipped

 

Stock CD player died a couple weeks ago in my truck and I'm finally putting in a small stereo system. Half of it is stuff that's been laying around in the garage for years.

This time I asked for forgiveness instead of permission.LMAO!




2 old Pyle 10's, preamp is in snail mail, going to add Infinity 4's in front doors, adding infinity 6.5 seperates in the rear doors, rear camera, haven't considered subwoofer box design at all yet. Probably 3rd order. It might be done in a month lmao I'm slammed with work.

Oh! My wife's and my identities got stolen day before yesterday, a ton of fraudulent charges, email addresses changed in accounts, all kinds of crazy sh!t.
