Can someone who has this explain how the mount attaches together?

it’s clear where the maxtrax pins go. But how do those plates secure to the other brackets they provide that then attach via wingnuts to the jack? I’ve got some stainless hex screws and washers but no nuts. Nothing I’m seeing is threaded.

if I’m missing the nuts, this will be 3 out of 3 orders from rago where the hardware was incomplete. And of course like all Rago stuff, no instructions.

Followed up with rago. Missing parts (in the heat sealed hardware package labeled “high lift Maxtrax mount”).

Frustrating as hell. Sure, it’s 4 bolts. I love their products and they are nice people but 3/3 orders lacked full hardware in the past 6 months. Smh.

Did they make it right each time?

I suppose. By sending me missing hardware which took a week to get to me from them each time. They were apologetic and like I said, I really like them and their owners and the products. BUT QA should be addressed. At this point (ie trying to complete my project today), it’s just again easier to just go to Home Depot and not push off a project each time for a week. And I’m off to do the same thing for 4 bolts again today. Pain in the ass.

Ya it happens. A lot of times I end up running to Ace anyway. I’m glad they made it right though a bit inconvenient.

3/3 orders is indicative of a larger issue. Beyond “it happens” IMO.

Maybe. Definitely frustrating. Could be bad luck though mate, they send out 1000s of orders.

You could be right. I’ll keep giving them my business as I have said. I like them and their people. They told me “it’s hard to find good packers” sort of as their excuse. I believe them. They are probably paying minimum wage to someone to do a tedious job that requires major attention to detail. Thats likely the root of the issue.

Ya they should move to pre-packed and sealed hardware kits. I’ve seen a lot of companies move to this method.

That’s what they send actually. But the prepackaged kits are only as good as whos packing them.
