Please stop w/ the CV bullshit and everything else related to it in here. There's a reason those topics get closed and so was this.

Any more and those folks will also find themselves reply banned or more.

You didn't miss much. Lots of rustled jimmies. Lots of words. Not much WTF when you really look at it. And we're not allowed to talk about that thing that everyone else is talking about anymore.

Oh, and apparently a PIT maneuver at 100+mph is probably not the greatest idea, especially when there's a ditch next to the road. And light poles. And a driveway. No gore in the video but the guy in the truck doesn't make it and the officer is lucky to have made it.

Doesnt bother me that the driver got killed. He showed a willingness to injure/kill others by his driving. Glad the cop survived.

Would the truck have kept running as hard if the officers had backed off a little? There are a ton of what-ifs. I totally get "play stupid games win stupid prizes" but how many times have we seen the PIT be ineffective and send the running car into the oncoming lanes as they overcorrect? That gap in traffic was huge at 50mph, not so much at 100+ mph. I'm glad the officer survived.

When I got home today from picking up a lawn mower I started to pull into the driveway and said What the F----!.
Apparently a black squirrel had gotten up under the hood of my 17 Tacoma when I left this morning and got chopped up between the fan and radiator. Part of him was still there in the fan shroud and the rest was in my driveway. That was really gross.
The reason I am posting this is to make sure everyone knows most of these new cars are using soy based wiring now and chipmonks, mice and apparently squirrels like to chew on it. I lucked out with mine and dont think he did any damage. I worked at a Ford dealership last year and every week they had a car come in with the wiring chewed up from mice. The dealership would just replace the whole harness at your expense. Its something to think about.

    Rodent Defense.

Has worked well for my old Bronco and 2004 Jeep that sits a lot.

While I'm sure the Bronco doesn't have the soy wiring, the Jeep likely does if it was cheaper than other wiring.

You can always count on Chrysler to take the cheapest route possible.
