Although I’m a little more partial to ‘80 for some reason. Grew up with a guy who had one that he put over 500k miles on. His was black and he had the vinyl pattern replaced with custom paint in shades of blue. 77ABC85E-FB04-49A7-AB6D-893DFB081A42.jpg

Lucky! Years ago we used to live near a tamale lady and she'd come door to door on Saturday mornings. Friends used to leave us money for the following weekend and everyone would come over for game night and eat tamales together. They were so so good. Pork or chicken...you never asked questions beyond that lol.

It’d be nice if they’d let us get a few things from work but I gotta go to the store like everyone else.
The first time I tried it I was able to get next day pick up. The second time I tried there were no available times. Apt times only went out 5 days I think it was so I cancelled the order. I woke up about 3 this morning and checked just out of curiosity and they had one apt left this morning at 8 so I started shopping!! My insomnia was actually a positive thing today.

Probably should have taken a picture when it first went in and looked a bit more appetizing lol. I'm thinking I'll shred and throw over baked potatoes for dinner tonight. Still undecided.

Wow I wish...kinda lol. The grocery stores near us are a solid 7 days out or I can drive about 30 minutes over to the one near my dad's for 6 days out. The delivery days are faster but we're outside of the area so we don't have that option. My step mom has had to drastically change her shopping habits because they never keep much food on hand or even leftovers. (I think this was sort of a good lesson for them)
Also makes a great addition to peanut sauce

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I shouldn’t be allowed to own tools. I was setting up ladders last evening so that I would be ready to work on my roof today. It was getting dark and I was hurrying. I had 2 ladders up with ladder jacks about 25 feet up. I had one end of the stage resting on one jack and was climbing the other ladder while holding the other end of the stage. The stage got caught on the first jack and started to push the ladder over. The next thing that I knew, I was in one of those slow motion safety videos. The stage pulled me with it when the first ladder kicked out. I let go of the stage but it was too late as the top of my ladder slid down the gutter. I jumped off from about 10 feet up and landed on me feet and went down. My wife watched the whole thing in horror. I got right up and and walked it off but I’m pretty sore today all over my body. That isn’t even the bad part. Guess where the ladders landed? Yup, on my truck. A 32 foot ladder hit the roof and dented it in, bounced up and went down the side of the truck. The other ladder was laying over the truck bed with the ladder jack through the tonneau cover. Moral of the story? Always park your truck farther than your ladder’s reach.

Glad you're okay. This is a perfect example of why I'm hesitant to get up on our roof or paint our house. Split level and we're already up on a 4ft high foundation. Might want to leave it to the professionals.
