Unfortunately you can’t use the stock radio here, or any regular size double din. When building this my plan was to just use the stock radio until I could buy a new head unit (Thanks to Trump bucks it’s now). But there is only 5.5” of clearance at this location because the heater core pipe that runs through the dash. I ended up getting an Alpine ilx w650 because its a shallow unit and has an amp add on that would still be under 5”. Can’t play CDs but I don’t think I put a CD in my truck in the 3 years I’ve had it.

    Do you know why exactly?
Every other shock I've dealt with hasn't done that.

You'll find most shocks that are fluid-filled but low pressure do this after being inverted or sitting for a time of inactivity. You're basically repriming the system by pushing all the air/gas to the other side of the valve so you don't have that dead zone anymore. I've got five or six cheapo rancho shocks just sitting on my shelf that I bet if I tried that with right now they go easy for the first one and then get tough. That's the reason they recommend having the canister down on low pressure shocks. Could actually make them softer almost permanently by putting the canister above when you install them

Ah that makes sense. Thanks for explaining.

So canister down is recommended for the sake of longevity in that sense?
The small amount of play is from built up air/gas on the lower portion of the canister under the piston where it compresses into, right?

Originals? I guess they lived a good life. This is one of the reasons that I don't like to get injectors that are "old enough to vote" serviced.

There is no such thing as a rebuilt injector. Cleaned, yes, new o-rings and screens, yes, but internal metal parts (e.g. coils, springs, valves) and plastic bodies are still vintage parts.

If company says they rebuild injectors, they are misleading customers.
