Not at night but the only shots I have at the moment. First two are immediately post install late afternoon on a cloudy day.

This one was at 6 am before work, pretty much 'night' time with a couple street/building lights nearby.

@FLJB, so did you install a switch in the cab in your 2020 access cab? I bought the light kit as well and from What I can tell will only come on with the interior lights/door. Would like to be able add the factory bed light switch inside the cab

Weird.. I have a 2020 Sport, pre wired, and with functional cargo light with the OEM switch. I installed the OEM bed lights, and they dont work! I used a voltmeter and no voltage seen in pre wired connector, can it be possible that something is disconnected between the bed lights and the switch?

I would check to see if you have the relay that needs to be put in already there or not. I do not know if the cargo light needs that relay, but it is needed for the bed lights so that may be it.. Unfortunately, it is located behind the switch so you need to remove that panel.

The relay for the Cargo Lamp is also the one that handles the bed led's.
Trace the wires into the cab, you most likely have a missing fuse to the bed circuit.

Thanks Blackbeard83. With the switch and relay, are these plug and play or do I need to get a harness too?

My bad, on my phone I couldn’t tell FLJB uploaded photos. I have the off-road access cab, with only a 3rd brake light, no bed light attached to the 3rd brake light. So based on the instructions, I just need the switch and bed light kit, no relay. Thanks, your pics were great. One more question though, how do I remove the panel in the first pic CF278285-6459-4DC1-A123-557604243D56.jpg

Yes it is plug and play. To remove the switch panel I used a painter's tool (see photos) and pried it from one side until I was able to get my fingers behind it and just pull it off. You will need the relay too. The plug for the actual switch is just "below" the switch board. I circled it in blue below. Just pull it out from the holder it is in (looks like its already plugged in but it is not) and plug it to the switch.Screenshot_20200426-165333_Video Player.jpg Screenshot_20200426-165358_Video Player.jpg 20200426_165639.jpg

I installed the set awhile back on a '20, the directions were good but I got lazy and didn't protect my bumper with blue tape or cloth for protection. This was my 1st manhandling/pulling the tail lights housing and I almost scratched/gouged my bumpers paint job

other than the tail light removal, as another commentor mentioned the dummy terminator on the oem socket that attaches to the body could be the hardest obstacle, but I had the trim removal tool to detach the plastic clip

I got the light kit in today without issue, took about 15 minutes. Easy, love how there was a tab on the harness to clip it in place. I was just reaching for a zip tie and then was like, Toyota thought of that too. Waiting for the switch and relay, hopefully they won’t take long. Thanks everyone for your help.

If you already have the cargo light switch in the cab and the 3rd brake light mounted light then you don't need a relay. You only need the lights and harnesses (2 of each, or the full kit). If you don't have the switch you probably also don't have the 3rd brake light mounted light so you would need the switch. Not sure about the relay since some people are reporting they didn't need it, just the switch.

Guys, I purchased the OEM 2020 kit for my 2020 TRD SPORT Tacoma and the harness are behind the tailgate I connect everything as you say and everything is plug and play. Just one problem they wont light up, checked and no power is coming to the harness. IS there a Fuse or soemthing that has to be connected? or maybe the OEM harness to the kickpanel o Carlgo lamp switch? Cant make them to turn on
