    I'm looking for a good on/off road tire. I want something that is aggressive but not too noisy on the hard ball. Any suggestions?

    I've got Cooper Discovery ATR's. So far they've been very good mannered on the pavement and I like the look of them. I've had great luck with Cooper in the past as far as longevity also, hopefully these follow the same pattern.

    Don't know about the Firestone but I'll throw out another AT tire, just got rid of a set of Toyo open country's that gave me 50,000 trouble free miles before wearing out.

    265/75/16 is not a narrower tire than the 265/70/16. The first number is your width, which is the same, the second number is called the aspect ratio. Basically, its a percentage of your width as your sidewall height. So, the 265/75/16 is actually about 5% taller than the OE size. Hope this information helps during your decision making process
