The fuck it isn’t, OP already said... stop being a douche bag and promoting fraud.

I’m sure your department would be proud of your integrity.

I'd guess that's about 50% low based on others posted here with similar damage.

Don’t get pulled over by that guy in Long Island folks!

OP- awesome not taking that bait. It will be covered, pay the deductible after seeing how your rates would be effected. We have all learned the hard way. Those that haven’t, just haven’t yet.

Do not worry about the damage cost (that is an issue between the body shop & the adjuster). Attain a rental, get an estimated ready date from the body shop and pay the deductible (if applicable) when you pick up the truck. It happens.

Ashamed to call you a brother in public safety. We don’t condone insurance fraud.

But yet you would arrest someone else for doing that. Double standard much?

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
I imagine they will replace 1, maybe both doors to save lots of labor time. My hat is off to you for being honest about what happened. Sorry about the New truck. :hattip:

    ...stuff
taking a hit perpendicular to the frame is different than side swiping a tree.
