@JerzRob have you vaccumed out this wire bundle/grommet area yet? I had so much sand in mine! This is the drivers side, right behind the brake fluid reservoir.

I'm not really sure, I did it over a few days whenever I had the time. I had the shell off and the windows out for painting which probably made it a lot easier than trying to do it on the truck. I also flipped it over so the roof was down. It really didn't take that long, I probably could have done it all in a Saturday afternoon.

I considered the Husky but I like the fact that the Weathertech use the OEM turn tabs to hold them in place. Both are great products and the best part is that they are both American made and not those cheap Chinese pieces of $#!+'$.

How easy did your T55 bed bolts come out? I’ve been trying to get mine out for the last couple days with no luck. Gona have to dremel the head into a hex for a socket I think.

I need to do this when I clean the engine bay....on the to-do list.

My bolts were pretty bad. All but two came out with out an issue. the last two I took to my mechanic. They were able to muscle one out, but the last one they used an electric induction tool to break it loose, no flame involved with that.

You can get a pipe wrench on it if you strategically place the wrench and push down on the wrench to keep it on the bolt. If that doesn't work instead of a hex head chop off 2 sides and stand the pipe wrench on its end.

I did this a while back and can't stress enough, don't wrap it over the side! Just keep it on the top surface or you'll exfoliate what ever drags over it!

Did some body work on the truck today and while I was at it, said fuck it and welded the flare holes shut. Now I just need to repaint the bedsides.

I also mounted my license plate. Right now it is riveted on, but the upper two will be replaced with bolt/led combos so I can be legal

Do you or someone you know have a welder? Weld a nut on top and it'll come out easy.

Some much needed front end upgrades today! JBA upper control arms, Fox 2.0 coilovers, Lexus GX 470 big brakes including: calipers, brake pads, dust shields and rotors. Plus some stainless steel brake lines. Amazing the difference in how this truck handles now.
