I had to make an appointment, I wasn’t even allowed in the dealership. They had the entire deal done when I got there, went into a back room, signed all my paper work with a plastic screen between us, wearing gloves, and a mask. I was done in less than 30 min. Honestly it was the easiest and best car buying experience I ever had.

I reached out to them a few days ago and they replied that they "hope to have the process ready for deliveries in the next few days" God I hope so. I ordered on 12/14/2020. I basically bought the truck online, I was working with the internet sales team the entire time. Had a salesmen that called me once it was all worked out to answer a few questions. What part of PA you in, this was in York, like I said only thing I showed up for was to sign papers and take the truck. There were rules but we got it done.

Back home and in the driveway, I took my step rails off my old one before i traded and then just put them on at home. Had to go to PA from N.C. to find a manual with Premium/ advance Tech package. Hard to find in this region.

A few months ago we tried to sell my wife’s Camry private sale. It had to be done private sale because we were getting in on the dieselgate Audi Q7’s. I’ll tell you one thing with my experience with private party. With a SE black Camry which was nice and perfect for A lot of people. After two months, we got $1000 less than Kelley blue book said that we should have. Trust me, I’m pretty good at negotiating. Selling private it’s a pain in the ass

Come on man you’re the expert on this stuff. Is the 30,000 you’re talking about trade-in or a private party? Big difference

 

Kelley Blue Book is just an idea, really. I keep my vehicles pristine, and the best I've ever done on any vehicle is the Kelley Blue Book "Good" price.

 

Kelley Blue Book has different condition levels in Private Party, and everybody thinks their vehicle is "excellent." Reality is much different.

 

To be honest, I would say that the deals people are getting are pretty much the same. maybe it will get better as the months go on. But 4 years ago, at the very end of the month I got this deal

 

In 2020 when I’m talking to the same dealership, they won’t even acknowledge it when I talk to them.

 

Ya obviously, lol. Trade, since we were talking about trade in to the dealer, if you even bring up private party to a dealer come trade in they'll laugh at you. Every state I've lived in has a tax trade credit, so usually trading works in my favor if I can get high end of trade in / close to private party.

 

If you have used your car it is not very good. I would like to believe that My vehicle with falling to the 23 percentile range.
