    That's a horrible idea. What time?
    If it's new it should be compressed in a box and a ton of plastic. Easy transport. Just moved a new full XL and we have a queen size that was packed the same way. If it's not new, get some shrink wrap, fold it and compress it. Then wrap it tight.

    Installed a @Mobtown Offroad reinforced tailgate. This was not particularly easy, as those rivet sleeves (bought the rivet nut/bolt set) are no joke to install (not Mobtown's fault, those steel nut inserts are just difficult to manage on that sheet metal). Had a few I had to redo due to them spinning. Finally got it all done earlier today. The product itself is very high quality, powder-coating is topnotch.

    I paid about $169 for mine back in December.

    It comes with everything you need, wire ties, metal wire ties, new bezels. I was able to find pdf instructions in the forums.

    Did you do this? If so, does it interfere with reverse camera? I have read that some of these do, which is why I help off on one.

Backed the threads out a bit so it’s not sitting that compressed now, still gotta fine tune it for the right height. Really went for it!

    So on your previous post you said double red- meaning the sequential is red too? I was looking at the amber wondering if it will match the rear tritonv6 turns. Did you go with 48 or 60 (I’m actually going to go out and measure after this post to see if there is even an option). Never been much for these tailgate bars but the housing seems solid. Can you take some day time pictures (non lit) video (lit) to see how noticeable the housing is and lights during the day? Also you said hardwired did you mean plug in the 4pin and hardwired for the reverse

    edit: never mind the length question- 48 it is

    @baldbeardedtaco

    Look at post #14 in the following link for an easy way to do this ^^^.

    Look at you coming in hot… that solves one issue (cause no way was I going to plug it into factory and be seen). I guess the connector behind the bumper is universal and not Tacoma specific?

    the only possible issue now is waiting for some daytime visibility pictures/video. I want to see how noticeable the housing is (possible eye sore)

    edit: the only thing I’ll need to do is cut the light bars 4pin (plus reverse wire) off and splice a 5pin and that eliminates running/tapping the reverse wire in factory harness

    Yeah, the adapter harness takes advantage of a USCAR standard which many manufacturers are using, including Toyota.
