You guys and gals be safe. Tornado warning around Charlotte. Hail and high winds here. Hail is about marble size.

Dobinson’s coils and shocks. SOS sliders, ditch light brackets, and front skid. Rigid ditch lights. BFG KO(dos) More minor stuff.
@Matic hopefully not in a tree somewhere. Nasty stuff last night. We were right on the bottom edge of the first 2. 3rd was out of gas when it got here.

Looks like most damage was done in North greenville/Sans souci area. About 7k without power.

Going to venture out and take a look at the Toyota.
Drove fine down to the store. When I started it up to head home it lost nearly half power.

It wasn't "popping" like it should if a coil pack was bad. Just a very muffled sputtering.
I've driven it all week to work and it's been running like a top so I'm not sure what to look for.

I've had a cel on for a couple years now. It came on just after I had Toyota replace an 02 sensor. (It was throwing a cel for that).

So after it came back on, I took it back thinking it had something to do with the 02 sensor they replace. Different issue. They ran the code and it came up as some evap system issue.
My gas mileage never dropped so I didn't worry about it and would eventually get it fixed.

The cel was always on steady.
When it started acting up last nite, the cel was actually blinking. I've never seen a cel blink before.
Limped it home and parked it

Blinking CEL means you’re getting a misfire and it’s going into limp mode to protect itself from catastrophic failure.

Pulling the code is going to be the only way to know what is happening.

Yea, seems to be what I'm reading.
I'm to afraid to drive it to have the code read. Plus..its going to show the code for the evap from before.

get you a wireless obd2 reader off Amazon for $20.

wireless if you have an iPhone
Bluetooth if you have an Android

then you can use OBD fusion or any other number of apps to read the code and any other diagnostic info.

I just hope it's something as simple as a coil pack.
I've gone thru 2 sets of them in the last 4 years.

    I'll look into it.
It can sit in the driveway for a bit. Feel like I've been neglecting my Rubicon anyway with it being so nice out.

Mistakes were made but it turned out ok for now. I hope no taller person needs to drive my truck! It's bolted into place by the rear seat belt buckle holes and on each side at a spot where the rear seat bolts into place. The top part of the cargo net is held by bolts that used to bolt in the headrests. And I wanted an easy way to hold and remove the crate. Since it has to be removed to open the flaps.

Sorry @Matic , didn't use the net I got from you. I may change it up and use it in the future. There was no good way to attach the top without drilling holes and adding some hardware. I'm using the cargo net from the gf's Lexus CT. It's taller.
