I am just starting to unpack the sets. It’s actually worse than it looks.

 

Built my early birthday present last night

 

Whoa!!! Must be like Christmas time. I can just imagine having it all unpacked and looking at it wondering...how long is this gonna take?

 

The Land Rover has been on my wishlist for some time now. I actually like the LEGO version more than the real one.

 

I want to sort them by theme, its taking longer than expected because I have so much. I have to keep putting each theme in different parts of the house. Plus I need some shelves so I can store them properly. I'm going to see if I can get some Ikea shelves during the Covid...

 

Is this a set for purchase ?

 

It's not. Just something someone created. You'll run in to that a lot with Lego.

It’s a mess right now because a lot of the shelves have partial built kits on them and my wife has been using the same room for her cricut die-cutting setup.

 

I got my desk cleaned up and I thought about just going ahead and starting Tower Bridge. Then I realized it's over 4200 pieces. Guess I need to get my LEGO cabinet drawers subdivided first.

Oh well. The wait continues. This thing is 40" long, which is deeper than my computer desk (32"). It's almost as long as a medium Ikea Lack shelf. It's insane. I need to revisit my office build and plan out where all this is going to go.

 

You guys think if i preorder the razor crest for may 4th promo that will qualify for the $75 purchase requirement for the Death Star fight sequence gift??

Delivery got rescheduled for tomorrow instead of today.

No biggie. One less day of me having it and not being able to give it to the kiddo.

 

The way you're hyped up, I really hope it's everything you want it to be.

That said, damn is Barracuda Bay a good set. Maybe it's the nostalgia goggles, but it hit all the right points when building. The final models are beautiful, and it's what kicked off my pirates resurgence. Definitely in contention for my favorite set of the last few years. Now if they'd only let me order two more...
