    Glad to hear it.

    Hopefully all goes well.

I heard construction sites in NYC will be opening back up soon also.

I am in healthcare and although life sucks right now being quarantined, I really believe once people starting getting back to normal there is going to be a drastic increase in cases. I hope I am wrong, but it only makes sense considering how many cases have been identified while people are actually on lockdown. Stay safe everyone.

My daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter, and sister-in-law are all front line healthcare workers and they all are saying the same thing. I too hope you are all wrong, but time will tell I guess.

To everyone who has continued to work during this pandemic, especially everyone on the healthcare “frontlines”- respect and admiration.

Covid 19 isn’t going away and we should all just put our masks and gloves on, get back to work, and power through this as best as possible.

I get what you are saying but just think about this...

Back to normal + Corona = More infections

More infections = More stress on healthcare
    More infections = More death
More infections = More people spreading it
More spreading = Dragging it out even more

I know China is a communist shit hole that controls the media outflow, but chances are that it is probably at least true that the US has still been the most affected in the world even without true data from China. We have never dealt with something like this so we just can’t even predict how bad it can get. That’s scary. I say we stay low key until at least summer. That’s my $.02.

This sucks for everyone but we have to avoid getting it and passing it on as much as possible. It will be a never ending cycle if we don’t. Don’t expect a cure. It’s unrealistic that anything will be available at any point in the near future.

I really hope it works out and everyone stays safe. I question whether the discipline and level of PPE will be up to the task.
I used be part of a FEMA disaster radiation monitoring team for a nuclear power plant. On regular drills we had FEMA inspectors always with us to find faults and discrepancies.
This was a professional and very motivated group, and our plume monitoring & comm tasks were a lot simpler than building cars.
There were always faults & discrepancies, even with one out of 3 team members dedicated solely to safety. It just is not easy.

This is also my biggest fear with reopening. A second wave is inevitable but hopefully not as bad as what is happening now.

Sounds like it won't be business as usual, but they don't say how extensive their new rules are.

The co I work for reopened our local factory a couple weeks ago, after having split into two shifts and adding a bunch of new ppe rules. So far so good, especially since customers we're getting antsy about repair being down.

Here in socal it's going to be in the 90s everyday for at least the next 10 days..people are already swarming the trails and beaches and it will only get more crowded. Also it is statistically proven with heat comes more crime

Mexico dose not mess around. last week I read that the Federal Police were putting chains and padlocks on Factory doors and gates and the Mexican Military were standing guard against any plants reopening, also last week there were several arrest because of employees cutting locks and starting production. Our Maquiladora plant in TJ. has been shut down for a week and they're shifting work to up here, so we're busier then heck.

Are you seeing something different that what I am seeing? I have yet to meet anyone that has the virus nor have I heard of anyone that I know dying. The numbers I have seen don't support the fear or the reaction. Seems to me we are no longer the land of the free or the home of the brave.

Sounds like good news. This country does not possess the attention span for any event that lasts over a month.

I know one guy, a little younger than me, in his 30s, who died from it. Knew him a few years. Those refrigerated trucks down in NYC, that hold the bodies, are real. We charged two of them before they arrived. You do you...but I propose the moonbat “Covid truthers” sign a waiver, that if/when they get it, they go to the bottom of the care list. You forfeit that ventilator. I would be on board with that.
