Ok, I used to do my own wrenching on my bike...but now I'm back to being a noob.

My brake levers/cables have too much slop/take up before actually applying braking pressure. How do I tighten them up?

there should be a barrel adjuster on the brake lever assembly. Turn it counterclockwise to unscrew it from handle That should tighten up the cable. Adjust to your liking. Front and rear. This assumes they are not hydraulic brakes.

Cable operated front and back. Disc on the front, rim pads on the back.

Man that sucks! Hopefully you can salvage one or the other. It looks like the crank failed right?

I have a raceface carbon crankset waiting on a new frameset, and sadly this seems to be a semi common issue with anything raceface carbon. I have not seen this many sram cranksets especially alloy, was this a crash or just normal use and it broke?

How did that happen? It doesn’t even make sense to me that an aluminum crank would do that

Not really sure. Was jumping the bike off a kicker out in front of the house. Then I’m pedaling and notice the wobble.

looks like he is something blocking the rear wheel from standing straight up. My bike sits straight up on my pad and doesn’t move at all
