In my 2019 5.29 2.0 test tune I can hit 6th gear by around 40mph when I’m cruising around town like a Grandpa.

Us canadians have highway of 62mph almost everywhere haha. I dont mind 5th gear at 60mph. It gets about the same mpg from what I've always seen anyways ! But 6th is nice for the quiet mbrp exhaust !

Does 6th gear even consume less fuel than 5th? It seems the truck struggles to even maintain speed with 6th.

Is there a way to run a diagnostic from flash manager? My truck won’t start. When I press the ignition it goes in to rapid clicking and I need to press the ignition again to make it stop. I have jumper cables on but still no start. The clicking sounded similar to when I’ve done installing a tune. The next time I start it clicks similar to the sound I hear today. Although it usually starts on the next few tries.

Related to your recent sound system work? Possibly poor connection to ground and insufficient voltage to starter?

If anyone is concerned please flash back to previous tune. I'll have a revised version in a few days.
The starter stays engaged for 1 of 2 scenarios.
    1. A certain amount of time has elasped
    2. A certain engine speed is achieved.

Also if you guys arent able to get into 6th, even at cruising, before 65mph please let me know the file you're using and mods

Sounds like a battery that's on it's way out and not tune related.

Yeah, I didn’t figure it was related but was wondering if the flash manager was like a diagnostic where it could tell me what the problem was. Also that it would rapid click exactly the same as when the tune was installed, I knew someone could steer me in the right direction. I was looking at the date on the battery 06/26/17. Thanks Gang! It’s on a charger now and will see in a few hours of it’s the battery.

    2.0F 91 octane 31-33 tires 04B04 tune...

2016 Sport, 33” tires, been on 19700 beta tune for a while. Now on the new 2.0.

After about 3-400 miles on the new tune, I find that running in D+ECT gives me the best performance and best gas mileage. I was getting 14-16 on 19700. Now more like 16-17. Shifting is acceptable with or without ECT, but better for me with ECT. Throttle has less tip in than 19700, but after getting used to it, it’s fine, power is still really good when taking off.
I ran with ECT off for the first few days, then turned it on. Now I push my Meso ECT button on my shifter as soon as I start it up.

So is this correct for this latest test tune? And will 2.0 final be this exact setup? I am running the 04B04 91 5.29 34-36 test tune. I have scoured all of these posts and just want to make sure. I had no idea that if I wanted to run the performance tune I had to press the ECT button sorry if I’m slow, lol but I just want to be absolutely correct! Also going to buy the meso Ect shift knob button if it has to be pressed to be in performance mode. Thanks

    :notsure:

Who knows but a large number of batteries have died between 1 and 3 years. Pretty common issue just like the bad CPS and low transmission fluid.
