    You need a spring compressor and to remove the collar on it.

    The top or bottom collar? Does the bottom one slide off once compressed? I have a big ass spring compressor so I’m not worried about that.

    If you’re planning on armoring up, I would leave it alone. Matt’s truck did quite well with the setup on there now. 650’s were too light when I started adding skids and a bumper.

    this ^^^ my first icons were 650 I put the eBay bumper and winch on it sagged and inch. Tried to crank the preload up rode like crap.

    I have absolutely no weight up front right now. I’m gonna keep the 700lb springs and swap them back in once I get a bumper, winch, etc. Then just sell the 600lb springs
