Data from one truck. And I'll gladly provide the table and show you.

He is the same guy who had everyone on here convinced their trucks were all misfiring because his did, and multiple people tested and did not have misfires.

I don't discount his data, but PI and DI usage is based on RPM, Load and other conditions.

    correct.

I would venture to guess that Vlady was denied to being a beta tester, so now he just logs everything in TS and tries to (publicly) point out each and every little flaw (or what he thinks is wrong) in order to discredit Mat and his tunes.

So let see more logs from other trucks. Where are those testers?
You have changed PI usage, it is no longer active after 200° F under any load/rpms until shutdown You said we should see some PI under 2500, but I dont That's the answer I'm trying to get out of you for past 7 days.
    Why are you avoiding it?
As far as misfires, yes, more than my truck experience it. Some wayyyy more.
To close misfires issue, I challenge anyone to start the truck (AT w/ any versions) in the morning and log your drive . Drive 20-25 mph for a mile and 1/2, about 5 min. Report numbers...

What if I don’t drive like that? What if I start my truck cold, drive 25-40 mph for 1 mile and then 65-85 mph for 30 miles? What should I expect?

And, what long term reliability issues do the misfires cause? Seriously asking because I don’t know.

If they see misfires than the fix that you claimed worked, didn't.

Anyways I have answered enough of your questions. Stop playing this ridiculous forum game. I told you I would show you the tables. You don't want to see them you just want to keep this illusion going.

What part of RPM LOAD and other conditions is confusing?

I am done playing this game. Don't like the tune? Please go to some other tuner.

That is my final answer. I'd caution you on what you say in the future without absolute and substantial fact. You have caused enough issues to my business already with your past forum posts.

Say something that is materially false about my product and if I get more chargebacks because of it I will have no choice but to consider legal action. I'm honestly sick of it.

If you think you are right enough to post here you better be sure you are 100 percent right. Because at this point if it's false, it's libel. The last time you did this it substantially impacted my business with people thinking their trucks would be running on 5 cylinders or misfiring itself to death. I had several cancellations, return requests, and chargeback as a result.

    Good night.

A few trolls screw it up for everyone else. I get banned 30 days for supposed "political" violation because of one comment. Then you get people like Vagay-gay that have free rain to spread BS and cause a financial impact on vendors here. Sorry you have to deal with people like this Mathew. Which unfortunately makes the rest of us suffer. Can't wait for 2.0 final. And getting things registered up after sending in my dongle.

Hopefully the mods don't take offense. I'm an admin myself. Just looking out for ovtune and tired of a few people screwing the rest of us who've purchased ovtune. Especially those who've been here since the early days.

No worries it won't screw up anything for anyone. I'm done playing games, if I see another financial impact from his posts which I can prove he is wrong, I'll take it up with the courts. I'm sick of it. I can already prove a few things he has said as wrong and he has ZERO evidence our tune causes any change in carbon build up.

The fact that we posted the files asking people to find and report issues, and his whole arguments premise is on a non issue, opinion, with zero factual backing just makes it that much easier.

And for new comers or people reading, I am sorry you have to see us this way. This has been a habitual thing with this user who likes to use fear mongering opinions and has been going on for year(s). I don't normally ever result to considering drastic action let alone mentioning such things publicly but this is a never ending problem.

We are probably one of the most open and transparent companies with our development process, communication on what we do and try to achieve, and I just have ran out of patience for this stuff.

Before you venture down this conversation with him familiarize yourself with how many misfire are considered within the normal range by Toyota's OEM spec. (FYI it's in the hundreds). Our tune has, on some trucks caused elevated misfires vs stock. Stock is not misfire free, some trucks are worse than others.

Some trucks are seeing misfires on the newest tune to test. It is being investigated. We included a fix signed off by him, that he is now saying doesn't work. So for the most reliable information on misfires and when to be concerned, reference Toyota's OE information.

Not one single tune to date has ever been reported to cause a misfire DTC (where it would be enough to be outside of normal range).
And this range is set by Toyota.

Making the misfire counts decrease requires lowering VVT advance in low rpm and as a result lowers maximum torque in lower rpm.
This was discussed probably 1000 pages ago.

Matt cant you get him banned? He's only here to try to impact your business and clearly doesn't care about your explanation to his question. As he states he doesnt know about tuning and probably is mad about something in life (divorce, money problems, etc). No need to continually feed misery to people like this. The latest 2.0 is by far the best tune yet and those of you who dont have it, wait til you do and i think a lot of you with complaints will be very happy.

Truth. My old 2016 that's had numerous driveability issues is damn near perfect now.

I tried out the 2.0 Tester for 91 octane and 31-33" tires on my 2016. After driving it for about a week it still starts rough, idles rough, and acceleration from a stop is sluggish. I went back to the older 2.0 91 octane beta and that works great for me. I am still looking forward to the 2.0 Final. Thanks again for all your hard work Matt
