I broke 7 today. Forgot the exact number, think I was at like 734 though? rode home in nasty fog, that was no fun. Had to ride visor up with how much wet there was. Oh well. Good riding day.

Also decided I need a GoPro for my helmet. Wish I had one on today to capture some of the views.

So I got back from a ride yesterday and parked the bike in the alley behind my garage. I ran around the garage to get inside to open the door when I heard a crash outside. When I opened the door, I saw my Ninja laying on its right side.
I had the kickstand set properly but I guess it wasn’t leaning enough on it (slight grade in that alley). The end result is a bent brake handle and a cracked oil sight glass, because the rear brake lever bent inward and shattered it. It leaked out about half of its oil as I pushed it into the garage.
It could have been worse, and it’s an easy fix.

Onto better news! I took the opportunity to change out the rear tire on my own! I even made a homemade bead breaker.
It seems to have gone really well, I will just check it each day for any air leakage while I wait for the replacement clutch cover/sight glass parts to come in.

Stay safe and get out there and ride for me! I will live vicariously through my fellow TW members.

At least it wasn’t a $10k bike. Another reason little ninjas are good beginner bikes

    You’re absolutely right!

I’ve learned more from this motorcycle than I ever could have imagined. The knowledge and experience is worth far more than the bike itself.

Plus, it’s fun as hell to toss it around the curves. :D

Put all the bikes in the garage at once.... usually only have one or two in there at a time.

Ya it's not looking that good the more I read about it. I like that it's an all in one though.

Thinking about getting one. But not sure I really want one. I like riding in silence and not having to listen to other people
