    I Check the gap, in case they were damaged during shipping etc. It’s good practice to verify the gap, just takes a second on each plug.

    Might explain the cylinder #1 problems some have had.
    Loose plug=detonation=burnt exhaust valve

    When I say finger tight, I mean I was spinning my socket and extension trying to line up the flats and I just get spinning and spinning and when I slightly lifted the socket I noticed the extra weight of the plug that was out of the head and in the spark plug socket.... But I never had any issues prior to that and I towed and really used that truck
