Happy Birthday @Tacoma Mike !! I hope it was a great one!!

I cut out a bunch of brush and tree limbs yesterday morning and then spent a few hours in our apiary - released the queens into the 4 new hives we set up last weekend. They seem to be thriving even with the cool weather and rain we've had.

Enjoy the day!! But, be safe!!!

I wouldn’t put your hopes on it.
    Slow it a little yea.
But until a vaccine is found we will continue to be at risk unless they prove antibodies keep you safe.

    So so true...

But to be honest some smart person is going to pull a rabbit out of his or her hat.
    The question is how long.
I hope this new normal won’t be the new normal.
But I’m afraid this won’t be short term..

    Afternoon all:
From what I am seeing and hearing, we can't afford it not to be short term.
    As posted before, :help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help::help:= $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$>:bucket::bucket::bucket::bucket::bucket::bucket: ,
and that's just for the short term!

My son and Daughter-in-law purchased a RTT for his 4Runner to use on their honeymoon last April and the pallet it was delivered on has been sitting beside my garage for over a year. I finally have the time off to rearrange part of my shop and cut up the pallet so I made my first project out of pallet wood. . . I made some small stacks of wood out of it.

    IMG_20200426_120710.jpg

The pile on the right will probably be used in some hybrid projects.

    But that's no all I was doing. . .

I appreciate a carefully planned project.

    Overthinking comes to mind though..

I went out to the garage to put a new cabin air filter in one of our cars. Next thing I know I'm vacuuming the interiors on both of them! I thought my wife was a slob but my car was actually worse. :anonymous:

Good morning, all! I'm headed into the college today for the first time in over a month - need to record a video for our Honors Convocation and my internet pipeline is too small to record/send it from home. Based on what looks like a long timeline before we can resume working from the offices, I think I'll also begin to clean out my office. Seems a little surreal but I might as well get it started.

    Be safe out there!

    Morning all:

    Good one Tony!

Wondering if anyone else grabbed any "deals" in this market, I bought a bunch of PPL stock and will average about 6% in dividends. just got tired of getting "NOTHING" on my money from the bank and at the broker and was waiting for a correction, so figured here's a correction WTH why not now!
I didn't get in at the very bottom but did dollar average, I'm really not too worried about paper gains or losses right now, that 6% dividend will keep me happy and of course "IF" there are any decent cap. gains down the road they will have to be considered.
If things really go to crap, oh well, at least I tried!:laughing:
On a side note, I have been in and out of PPL for many years and it has been very good to me, hopefully this time is no different, will see!

My wife worked for PPL in the 80’s and acquired a bunch of their stock , which she has kept all these years. The dividends have been good and she will never sell it. It’s like a little of home for her (she was born and raised in Lancaster).

PPL and DQE were 2 of my go to stocks over the years, DQE is no longer an option since it went private.

    That's PG&E out in California
