I’m really leaning towards the white liner. If I miss spots, no one is the wiser. It’ll look pretty subtle. And it’ll be tough as fuck. Downside is cost but meh, may as well do it once and do it right.

I knew you'd like it better without the 4" rake, you're welcome.

Yea, Short Bed would have to be a Single Cab.

    Definitely much better.

    This is what I said.

They always come around Jaime. You're the master here, and we're all just grasshoppers.

I didn't think failure was in his vocabulary.

    It's easier than painting.

Aluminum foil for the ease, and cost, and aliens.

$5 he would if he saw aliens.

    Sure?

Then he could add those Raptor lights in the grill.

Keeping the paint, check. Or is he, double check.

    Hell yeah!

    Red?

Substantial contact is normal for Randejo.

    See, normal stuff.

Aluminum foil is easier to replace on the trail.

    This is true.

Yea except it would limit the width of the trails he could go on. Replacing mirrors is easier.

    Spring mounted mirrors.

    Spring mounted mirrors I said.

    Too restrictive I said.

Triple check. I think it's time to be tested for bi-polarity.

Yes #RandyFab, just do it. Hmmm, dejavue.

Quadruple check. I can't keep up.

I dig this stuff way better than your standard bedliner.

Me too. I'm really leaning towards doing the truck in it in white. It'll still look fairly factory, at a glance. If I miss spots or some are thinner, it doesn't matter. It'll hide body work imperfections and it'll be tough as shit.

I don't like when trucks are coated in the standard black textured stuff. Looks cheap to me.

I'm not a huge fan of it either unless it's just the lower portion of the body. This stuff looks more finished. I've never even heard of it. It's given me some project ideas....:ohsnap:

I used their textured liner for the floor of my truck. It's some seriously nice stuff. With the right prep, it is rock solid. I have no doubts it'd do great on the exterior.

Right now the only kicker will be how much I need. I sent them an email asking. I think 2 gallons would suffice, and be about $300. I could maybe swing 3. If they tell me 4, I'll just paint the bedsides and revisit this idea in the future because $600+ is a bit more than I want to spend at the moment.

Well would you look at that, right in the FAQ. I'd compare betty white surface area to a large jeep.

edit: more I think about it maybe not. I think I'll buy two gallons and a quart as a little safety margin. That should be enough

Durabak got back to me already. He said one gallon would be pushing it and would recommend getting an extra quart or two. I'm just going to order two gallons so I have a large margin of error. Bed lined truck here I come.

I was gonna say, this escalated quickly considering it was just a thought two weeks ago. Now we have a bobbed bed, new bumper and soon to be repainted truck. Exactly what I expect from the Lair
