    It should not make contact. There should be a small gap, that is to allow for aiming and adjustment. If they were to contact you would not be able to aim the lights. Also note the Squadron Sports do not have pattern cut offs, and should never be run on the street with on coming traffic. The lights are illegal for street use and designated for off road use only.
