    Your bi-polarity is showing again. His cap is the inspiration for me to do mine the same way. I love it on an OR or Pro with all the other black accents. I honestly think a Voodoo Blue cap on my truck would be too much. Not really an eyesore but just not as nice as a black textured cap. I'm taking it off this weekend to start the prep. It's suppose to be really nice. I wish I had the courage to take the windows out. But that's just my OCD showing again.......................

    No. That was the cowl at the bottom of the windshield. That has held on great!

    How does cost compare to a professional wrap?

    Well a professional wrap is a couple thousand dollars. The cost of the bedliner and masking stuff is about $400. It can be rolled on but I'll be spraying it on. It's comparing apples to oranges really.

    I'm curious to see how your new compressor works with a spray gun.

    Me too. I imagine it'll do fine if I take a real short break between panels, like a min or two to let the compressor catch back up. So far it's been doing great with my air tools, like the DA sander or right angle dir grinder, and those suck a lot of air. I can't run them continuously but I can go for a few min before I need to let the compressor catch back up. I'll need to double check but the paint gun uses a lot lower pressure too which'll help.

    Exactly my experience with mine. I bought a spray gun that supposedly works with smaller compressors, but have never used it.

    @EatSleepTacos since you mentioned spending money on pew pews recently. I thought you'd appreciate this. Picked it up this morning.

    wanna be mods
    Well the leftovers works for serious tangles with stuff for touch up work!:mudding:
    Edit: after thought went straight to coating the sliders (perhaps adding texture sand/grit for sliders or main stepping points), front and rear bumpers with the remainder might also be slick, or overkill!

    Up here my tint place charges $5k and $6k if you want all painted surfaces done.

    Me too.

    When I inquired about having my cap done and mentioned texture the guy said distance makes all the difference between a popcorn ceiling look vs nearly smooth with a slight powder coated texture. Since your doing bedliner I wouldn't think you have to worry so much about edge transitions and blending wet edges.

    :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

    It takes much longer but I want to set a record or records.

    Anything that comes in it's own padded case must be junk. You shouldn't trust it and just give it to me Daniel.

    But seriously, what are you mounting that on?

    He gets too much credit now, you're just making his head larger.
