    Yup. Pretty excited about it.

Cooked eggs yesterday. I’m impressed with how well they heat all the way through the sides.

Playing with beer again. I marinated 2 pork loin ends in a mixture of our stout and honey then cooked in the smoker to 145 along with some redskin potatoes. I’m think perhaps the best pork loin I have ever cooked.

nice congrats. i've never had full set of matching cookware. i just get pieces i like from various brands. your pans look similar to my Cuisinart Mulitclad unlimited. i am really enjoying the anodized alum outside with the SS interior. those are gonna last a lifetime for you.

I hope so. After my last cheapo set I told myself I would replace it as needed with quality cookware. This was a good quality set. A lot of sets are a “budget” version of cookware and have either less ply or metal ratio. This one wasnt cheapened compared to the alacart peices.

Make it so! I skipped soju and used a bit less sugar. I think a splash of whisky would Like a teaspoon would wake it up more. I didn’t use mirin. I used Sake.

Some blackened salmon. Some soy/ginger salmon. Couscous and broccoli.

Wife said soy/ginger was the winner this time.

Always curious who made that set. I’m wondering if it’s rebranded Calphalon. If you ever figure out, I’d be curious. :)

    be well.

I meant the cookware, I have seen it once before at a clients house and assumed it was rebranded. Viking’s manufacturing HQ is in Mississippi and doesn’t make pots and pans, to my knowledge. Only a few things are made in house.. indoor/outdoor cooking and their new 700 series refrigerators.

All other Viking branded stuff is made by third parties.

last deer season, we all made a pact. three of us.

first buck down, we were to cook and try eating the nuts. testicles. my friend Jack drew the short straw and got first dibs at a buck. he was sighting on the deer, and just waited..i whispered, "arent you gonna shoot?"
"i dont know if i want to eat the nuts".

hahaha..we killed that deer and yes, we fried up the huckleberries. not bad. taste oddly like an oyster to me.
