I installed a set of these headlights on my truck last night:

    https://www.protuninglab.com/pro-jh-tta16-lbdrl-bsm.html

The install went smoothly however I am not getting output when 'DRL' is selected on the control dial. The LED bar does illuminate when 'Parking Lights' are selected on the control dial, but nothing when positioned to 'DRL'. Low/High beams work fine, turn signal functions properly. Any idea what I might be missing here? Thanks for the help.

Did you check you general lighting settings in your head unit? If it is set to off they will not turn on in the DRL setting but will turn on in the parking light setting.

On some of these type of lights, that bar isn't designed to light up on the DRL setting. I had similar ones on my '15 and the bar only lit up on parking light mode.

I just went and checked, the DRL option was set to ON. I toggled it on and off just to be sure and I still don't get any output.

I am not sure why they would specify w/DRL if there wasn't some functionality associated with it, I sent them an email, we will see what they have to say.

Looks like you were right, according to Pro Tuning Labs the light bar is only designed to illuminate when the parking lights or headlights are on, no functionality tied to the DRL setting on the control stalk.

I am wondering if I can make some sort of custom harness to get the light bar to come on with the DRL stalk setting.

I know, it doesn't make sense to me either. The DRLs are like they normally are and the light bar is just there to add cool factor. You can always just rock it in parking light mode if you don't want to mess with wiring.
