Can someone tell me what the four separate sections on the crawl control switch are for on a 2020 Pro? Speed? Thanks!

The speed of your "crawl". Its like having cruise control for offroading. Thats my best explanation.

I'm shocked the owners manual doesn't cover something so complex. Shame on Toyota!

Think of the money auto makers could save by not printing these things. Sadly, 90% of the population wouldn't even know they stopped printing them.

What I'm worried about is what people do for a living that makes them able to afford a $40-50k vehicle but not able to reference literature.

Poor 2020 Pro. It deserves an owner who actually knows how to utilize her tools. :)

Too many think if they can make the payment it means they can 'afford' it.

Our OP may have paid cash, so I'm not speaking of him, or any specific individual.

I'm just airing a more general concern as I watch an economy that will continue to falter for a while.

Maybe they make that new “mumble rap” or maybe they created an app.

Funny you say that. Volvo did stop printing and put on the internet and phone app. Customers still dont read it and I am still putting "customer to read owners manual for proper vehicle function" on my repair orders.

OP....were just bustin' on you some. No harm intended. :boink:

Every single day there are posts with people asking, "what's this button do", "how much oil does my truck hold", etc., etc.

Take some time and thumb through the owner's manual. There truly is a wealth of information in there.

Thanks for the replies everyone! Next question....I just went out and tried entering Crawl mode. I went into "4Low" then shifted from Park to Drive. I got the message, "Crawl not available. Shift into 4L then D or R." I did this and it still didn't go into Crawl mode. I keep getting the same message each time I went through this sequence. Any advice? Thanks all!

    Read your owner's manual.

I read the manual as many suggested but couldn't find anything for, "I went into "4Low" then shifted from Park to Drive. I got the message, "Crawl not available. Shift into 4L then D or R." I just assume at this point that this is normal.

You can only engage CC while in 4L. You can only engage 4L while in neutral. Once 4L light is solid, you can engage CC.
