Brace yourself: MAJOR mod today. Vent hole in the window cleaner resevoir for the bug splat commute to work. Gets about two cups more of fluid on board.

 

I did something similar. I poked a small hole in top of reservoir with a pushpin, so it can vent.

 

FINALLY got this installed. Had to custom rig the tss bracket. Need to figure out where to mount the front camera.

 

Got me some trucks.

 

What interface are you using to view the front camera?

What do you use to label those wires?

 

I raised my front by what I thought was an inch. Turns out my math sucks. I am sitting at 24” in the front.

Thanks to someone local I bought(130$) a BN icon 1.5 and installed that as well. So my rear is now 23”. Here’s proof.

 

A plus no more RUB.

 

Hooked up the wheel wells and undercarriage with rustoleum matte black undercarriage spray. Exhaust with high temperature matte black rust protective coat.

 

Over the weekend completed the rear differential breather, and added a TACOMA bed mat

 

I thought about that, but decided to keep it under the fill cap so I wouldn't have to worry about a plug and debri getting in.

I find that most people if not everyone are buying new wheels for their trucks along with their tires...I can't say that I've even seen a truck with upgraded off road tires with the original Toyota wheels (TRD sport / off road)...

Is there a specific reason why everyone seems to go with aftermarket wheels and not stay with the stock wheels?

 

Other than personal preference the weight of OR wheels could play into the decision

I do like a couple of the TRD wheels, but I stayed with stock wheels on my 2019 Sport simply because I wanted to spread out the . But I got the tires I'd want when/if I do upgrade them. Added Spidertrax just to bump them out a little for a move aggressive look.

 

Yea only thing I can really think of is weight...
