I’m gonna attempt this as soon as I get a day off. Gonna see if I can run my air horns off 1 gal tank.

this may be a dumb question but my duel arb compressor has the air fitting coming off the top. Is this a different model? By coming off the top, it is very close to the hood i feel. Also, how hot does your braided lines directly off the compressor get?

I saw this was possible somewhere but this is the first time I have seen it all broken down. Nice work!

I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on this: https://mountainoffroad.com/collect...sor-and-1-gallon-tank-for-toyota-tacoma-gen-3

The bundle pricing is actually really good.

Steel vs aluminum looks like the only difference.

I'll agree theres no downside but there really is no upside either as you mentioned its only good for that first tired. Where it really shines is if you need blast of air. Or to fill up bicylces or small tires like ATV's faster. If you just want it as an air up and down tool honestly I'd just stick with the single or dual ARB compressor and save the space.

It's also a benefit because your compressor can fill up the tank through a relative large line, and only your tank has to deal with filling the tires through the restrictive schrader valve. That means your compressor should technically work less to fill all the tires.

Would putting a line with a check valve on it from the compressor to the tank help reduce sitting pressure on the compressor? or is that just to prevent "back flow" because wouldn't the pressure that sits in the lines and manifold still be at the same pressure as the tank when at max pressure?

Yeah I'm not sure what ARB recommends. I would guess that if it needs a check valve it has one built in but I have no idea.

But yes, everything in the lines and tank will be at the same pressure.

No, but I have a TRD OR 4x4 and have looked into doing this and I don’t think there’s much difference between the two models under the hood anyways. So you should have the room to do this.

Does the hose fitting and chuck from the 1 gallon tank came with the kit or no? If no, does anyone have a part number or link for both hose fitting and chuck? Thanks

The tank comes just as is so you need to order a fittings kit which I think is linked with the tank. And then the chuck I think you can get separate too just search Arb air chuck
