I know...betrayal of the second gen.

I’m entertaining the idea for now. For how I want it specced, I may as well get a pro!

edit. Argh the negative space got me

Obligatory smug mug birthday swag grin. In before, “baby face, young blood can’t tell him anything. I have more years than you do facial hair”

I’m sure I missed some, have fun! ;)

The 4runners are so nice but man they're pricey. I had originally entertained getting a new one before coming across my 13. I think it would have been a mistake for me but too each his own. We have a friend who has one and it looks great. Put on a RTT and some armor and you're good.

I’ve thought about a RTT. I have a Diamondback cover and I could mount it onto that. However I’ve had it posted for sale going on a month now. I’ve enjoyed having my truck bed back.

Honestly I’d throw money at suspension and ride quality before I added more weight. Under 40k miles and my body mount bushings are shot and I’m sure there are many others such as the dreaded radiator support bushings and seizing control arm joints.

It would be great to have a manual transmission again too.

Give us a few month's and we'll have a short bed rack and RTT for sale lol. The weight is so minimal so I wouldn't overthink it. The combined weight is only 250.

And we totally blew our shocks in Death Valley so that's just par for the course. If you're breaking something you're probably out having fun. It's less fun when it's on a brand new $50k purchase.

It's actually the mid height kbvoodoo rack. Basically brings the rack and tent just barely above the cab. It would be a few though since we're waiting on our drifter order and with everything going on we're pushed back even further. Maybe August if we're lucky.

Don’t be bringing any logic into this. But on a real note I appreciate any and all opinions/feedback.
Ah cool but not so much about things being pushed back. I have KBV’s bed and tailgate caps but now my Diamondback won’t sit correctly.

That would be near perfect ride height.

I get Sunday/Monday off. I'm happy about it too because I get one day to myself without the annoyance of those I live with

I'm not saying don't get a new truck, I'm just saying wait for a bit. No one knows how long this is going to last.

No doubt! I’ve never seen 0% on a Tacoma before. I’m entertaining the thought for now and I’m not one to be impulsive on such a ‘large’ investment. For now it’ll be window shopping! :D
