What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I do like a couple of the TRD wheels, but I stayed with stock wheels on my 2019 Sport simply because I wanted to spread out the . But I got the tires I'd want when/if I do upgrade them. Added Spidertrax just to bump them out a little for a move aggressive look.

 

Yea only thing I can really think of is weight...

 

Ok, maybe it's a SoCal thing....I was going off of what I see around town typically.

 

In that case, I see nothing but factory wheels.

Yeah I saw that picture too. Without the winch the light bar is fine as I was running that setup before I installed the winch. The control box with my X20 is in the way so I moved the light bar. I'm sure some other winches dont have this problem or you could relocate the control box which I still might do some day.

Also I did not go with aluminum.

 

What kind of rims are those? Where you get them at?

 

Installed my PreRunner TireGate yesterday! Love how it turned out, I painted the part that holds the tire, the tire hold down, and the plates on the sides. Used the dupli color exact match and I would say it’s very close. All in all very happy with how it looks. However, the instructions were awful. There were a few nuts missing, there were parts that were used that were not part of the instructions, and also some left over hardware and an extra part that I have no idea where goes and isn’t mentioned in the instructions. Aside from those issues, and the fact that it is wayyyyy overpriced, it seems very well built and very sturdy.

 

Actually there are but I'm holding onto them for now. Never know when I may need to play that card.

True, my wheel and tire are just up for grabs now. While my stock tailgate is safe at the house.

 

Took my truck on it's first road trip - up to Greer AZ to a friend's cabin.

Got home today and decided the truck needed a bath.

Now that the truck is clean, going to install the Philips H9 B1 bulbs in the low beams (using a H11 to H8 adapter that I'll modify) along with the GE Nighthawk XENON H11-55 NHX bulbs in the fogs. Got home and they all had arrived.

Swapped out my chrome handles for the black ones. Now the only chrome I have left on the truck is the steering wheel enemy and the mirror adjust knob.
